Yes, given the fact that the Michigan economy is in the crapper, and only projected to get worse, they need every cent they can get. I hate pledge drives, but I love that station.

I was listening to Ed Love go on a 15 minute rant last night about how WDET still has plenty of music variety (and local music too). Don't tell him they don't have music. It was actually kind of amusing...

I'm going to pledge to WRCJ too. I'd almost like to pledge $1 to WDET with a note that my 3 years of $240/yr streak ended with the loss of a majority of my favorite hosts (Judy Adams, John Penney, Martin Bandyke and for all intents and purposes - Chuck Horn)
