what the hell happened to Fu Wah Express?! that was my favorite quick lunch spot downtown...i was working down there the other week and i stopped by there and the glass doors were all newspapered off. no sign. no notice. no Hunan Chicken. nothin'! anybody know the skinny? |

LOL Cmu! i admit possible shutdown by the Board of Health did cross my mind...thanks for the info, guys. i am stunned that they would close down, as they were always packed at lunchtime. i can still taste that Hunan [Chicken?]! their waitresses were so sweet too. R.I.P., Fu Wah... a sad day for Raygun. |

Last month I visited a hurricane devestated part of New Orleans. On all of the buildings they mark how many animals they found dead in each house or building. A chinese restaurant had "7 dead cats" marked on it, I kid you not! |

Lowell, i always worry about health issues when restaurants of any kind i like get shut down, but i did feel guilty for thinking that about Fu Wah because it was Chinese food. i never felt guilty thinking that about other places so i guess it's still perpetuating a stereotype in some six-degrees-of way. d'oh! |
