Walking down John R today, I was startled to see that a homeless man has constructed a wood and cardboard fort inside one of the two main entrance alcoves of the Metropolitan Building. At the time I passed by, he was standing between his fort and the building, peering out like a look out. Grassroots economic development, here we come!
