Has anyone been to Flynn Pavillion to ice skate this winter? Have the renovations been completed and it actually opened? Anyone been to Belle Isle today - is the ice on any of the ponds thick? Thanks for the help... |

Last night, a couple of the ponds were totally frozen. Week or 2 ago there were quite a few skaters on the BI ponds...didnt drive by until 1030 last night, so i dont know if any were out during the day |

Undecided on college. between MSU, Detroit Mercy, or Alabama lol..
I really want to go to UDM, but thus far my parents have been dead set against it. Sadly, all they see is the news reports nightly of shootings or robberies. If i show them nice Detroit neighborhoods their response is, "well this only covers a small area, the rest is a ghetto" or something similar. Im trying HARD to work on them!!! But, it looks like MSU will be where I am next year. Moving to Detroit upon graduation.
Not even sure what I am majoring in yet, but most likely Political Science, and then law. Also, I am looking at journalism, business, or possibly teaching. |
