Well, it appears that all isn't well at MI Public Radio (WUOM locally). Will the possible corruption spill over to WDET and Michael Coleman?

I think it calls into account just how much of a genius Michael Coleman was at his WUOM post. Based upon his track record there could shoot some holes into his credibility as the WDET leader. Were we sold a false bill of goods on his effectiveness at WUOM?

I'm curious as to what the ratings are now at WDET since the format change. Anyone have info on that??

Try following the link so conveniently supplied by bvos and all will be revealed.

The guy who resigned and is being investigated for criminal wrongdoing at WUOM was actually Coleman's boss, not the other way around. If anything, the number of changes WDET so far could show that he's in no way willing to permit any real or perceived corruption on his watch.

Sorry, Chico, but the article doesn't say what the allegations are.

Is it indecency, graft, embezzlement, jaywalking?

This thread is as poorly named as it is spelled.

Exactly Steve, nothing there. This thread jumps to a conclusion.

"University of Michigan officials said Thursday they are investigating the school’s public radio and television stations. U-M officials have launched an internal review of Michigan Public Media, the umbrella organization for Michigan Radio, operating as WUOM, 91.7 FM ... The University of Michigan Department of Public Safety has also launched its own investigation of the radio station, department spokeswoman Diane Brown said Thursday."

UM spokesperson 'would not comment Thursday on circumstances surrounding Reynolds departure.'

While that may smell of corruption, it says nothing. What if it was, say, sexual misconduct or a discrimination issue?
