I only wish the developers of that site would have found a way to save the Medusa part of the sign. That would have looked cool on top of a condo building. But yeah, good riddance to those silos.

Curious what could be spelled by rearranging those letters, I looked up the anagrams of "medusa" at http://www.wordsmith.org/anagr am/ . Here are some of the meaningful ones:

US MADE
AMUSED
SUE DMA
DAM SUE
MAD SUE
SAD EMU
SEA MUD

Medusa dealt in SEA MUD. I'm with AIW here. Thanks for the great pics. What's the site look like now? Can we get some after shots from Windsor?

Praise the Winsome and her skipper.

jjaba, still waiting for a ride.

Thank you, AIW. I am flattered.

Speaking of Medusa, I wonder who ever ended up with that really neat Medusa's head logo that was on the funnel of the MEDUSA CHALLENGER when she was sold to the Southdown Corporation and the logo had to be removed.
And when "jjabaX", who claims he has political aspirations, has his campaign up and running, we will place him on the Winsome's swimming platform, and he can deliver campaign promises to the multitudes gathered in Hart Plaza.
We will, however, maintain a safe distance from shore to avoid any rotten apples that might be hurled.

Adding a few "EM" spacers in respectful deference to Jjaba's printer trade:
Medusa anagram
