Innergy, which opened Feb. 11, is located in a charming two-story brownstone at 639 Beaubien that has been lovingly restored by the two women and their families.

Innergy is open seven days a week, and stays open until 8 p.m. four nights a
week.

Whole story from Model D http://www.modeldmedia.com/dev elopmentnews/spa0228.aspx

I hear this place has $15 manicures! AND, did you see they are open on SUNDAYS! DOWNTOWN! A BUSINESS open on a SUNDAY DOWNTOWN!

Go there.

It will only do well if the people who live and work downtown support it!

I am sick of businesses downtown closing.

I think they need to play up the Sunday hours - I know my wife has looked for Sunday hours at a spa before and it is tough to find, I passed this onto to her.

Blondy,

There are quite a few places downtown with Sunday hours. Borders, CVS, Jos A Bank, Au Bon Pain, and most of the downtown bars and restaurants are open on Sunday

You mean I can buy a bagel, a book, a mens suit and some cough medicine all on a Sunday? Then get fed and wasted? Yay.

Graet!!! Another Detroit establishment. Maybe someone should invite the owners to the forum as she can meet some of her future clients. I like the Sunday hours...excellent day for me and my wife.

if you all don't know by now...I have made certain that at least 60 percent of all my purchases are made right here in Detroit. Last month I hit 89 percent and i feel great about it. this is just another place to add to my growing list of businesses to patronize.

wow, good job Broken-Main. I also try to spend most of my money in the city. Dont have a lot, but hey every $ helps! Its tough to do it from way out in Brighton, but I have spent more money in the last year in the City of Detroit than in any other city or town.

Well thanks MC... I am determined to do my part in my town. Also trying to instill the same into the children. Just this week, in Detroit bought computer, shopped Eastern Market(lots of candy), bought daughters gym shoes at the shoe store on Woodward. Lunched at Union Street, Small Plates, Farmer Jack on E. Jefferson. I live in the Bagley community so i definitely shop the mexican grocery stores.

Thats just recently and hopefully will find more new and exciting venues to shop, dine and play at.

The CompUSA in Detroit at Ford Rd and Southfield(and yes it is in Detroit) I used to work at 2 locations on that site.

Ended up getting an HP Multimedia with all of the bells and whistles to boot

Oh wow, I never even knew that there was a CompUSA in Detroit. I remember people talking about how there were no places in Detroit to buy a computer, and all of those types of accessories. Good to hear!

Well tucked in a little corner off of the southfield service drive and Ford Rd. The entire lot is in Detroit, which includes an Office Depot, Wendy's, Chilis, Residents Inn and a Doubletree.

I usually do all of my shopping there, as it pertains to my computer needs.
