Their is a new water park in Frankenmuth at Zenders called splash city http://www.zehnders.com/new-si te/hotel/index.htm. I've been to Great Wolf. Really pricey and the rooms were just OK. It also its out near the malls and not "downtown" Traverse City Hope this helps Mark Houston 360Michigan http://www.360michigan.net |

Great Wolf was enjoyable and there are usually discounts available, especially for mid-week visits. If you only want to go as far north as 15 Mile, the Best Western at 15/Van Dyke in SH has an indoor water park. Not as big as the one in TC but much closer and a bit cheaper. |

Michigan Adventure near Muskegon. They bill it as two parks for the price of one. The water park is great. They have a nice wave pool and a bunch of water slides. Great for kids big and small. The amusement park is OK too. Overall it's a worthy family destination. I forget what it cost, but I didn't feel we were cheated. The Great Wolf in Traverse City is nice, too, but make sure you go when they offer deals. |

That Best Western at 15 Mi. and Van Dyke has a long reputation for going out of their way to please customers. Haven't seen their water park though. http://www.sterlinginn.com/ Four Bears Water Park in Utica no longer exists. |

Thanks for the input. We were looking at Avalanche Bay (Boyne Mountain), but I'll take another look at these. Thanks again! |

The Great Wolf Lodge ALWAYS has great deals and coupons at Meijer. Buy a night get on free, stuff like that. Might be worth checking out |

Great Wolf is cool, but definitely hard on the checkbook, even with a Meijer discount. |
