My friend teaches second grade out in Birmingham and has a program she started a number of years ago called KID WITNESS NEWS. They have interviewed all kinds of people over the years. The second graders do all the camera work and the interviewing, the only thing the teacher does edit the show together. They on many occasions become a news story themselves while out interviewing VP Gore, Colin Powell (sp?), ect...... Anyway they went and interviewd Jimmy Kimmel at the Go Kart races. They also got to interview his girlfriend Sara Silverman.....We were told that the Kimmel show was going to use part of the interviews on last nights show, but it looks like the show ran long, so the piece was cut, maybe tonight. My friend did say that the Kimmel folks were more the kind to her and the kids. | ||
