Was anyone at the Kid Rock show tonight? Free Press shows pictures of Seger on stage. Wish I would've been there, I've been wanting to see Seger live for a while but he won't ever tour. Anyone there, what did he sing? How was the show?

There is good news- staind is coming to stand in for three doors down! Could it get any more bland?

Like them or not, both Seger (mostly) and Kid Rock (less) are nationally known musician/celebrities and have chosen to remain supportive of their hometown Detroit area. They at least spend a bulk of their time living at homes in the metro area (Oakland County). Sure beats having them hightail off to L.A. soon as they can.

I love Seger, I just don't know why he keeps playing with losers like Kid Rock.

Anyway, I guess no one watched Conan last night, but he said that a lot of people were complaining about the Rolling Stones being the Halftime show and that a lot of people thought that Seger should have. Then they had a guy come out and sing "Like to Block," "Take those old Steelers of the Shelf, and crap like that. Come to think of it, it wasn't very funny at all.

The only reason Bob Seger knows who Kid Rock is, is that the share the same manager Punch Andrews. Who I might say is a legend at being a rock and roll manager, and he knew to put Bob up on stage at that particular show will get Bob & Bob lots of coverage, which is what Punch is paid to do.
