Since there has been alot of discussion on the threatening nature of the homeless in the downtown area, especially with the sperbowl coming up and the tragic shooting of the homeless guy last year, it's safe to assume that these two troops acted as two well armed state troopers should.

I mean hell who knows what kind of damage this 50 year old homeless gentleman could have caused downtown...

Oh my.

I hear a lot of debate over what is police "brutality" and what isn't...but allegedly taking a man a long distance to an alley and then shooting a chemical meant for dispersing crowds right at him certainly sounds brutal and rather premeditated.

I'm still mad about the full acquittal of Morningstar.

Do the state police actually have a post in Detroit? Regardless, I am starting to resent them because they have very little presence on inner-city highways in terms of keeping traffic in control and speeds down, but then you get stories like these two recent incidents, which are not things that I want my state police to be doing.

I believe MSP are now based out of Cadillac Place (old GM HQ). They have an office in the building at the corner of 2nd and Milwaukee.

I truly don't know what they do, either. They certainly aren't on the freeway system in any respectable number, let alone in the neighborhoods.

So, did the guy have his pants around his ankles or not? Without knowing this pertinent information I can not pass judgement.
