I heard a rumor that there's going to be a movie version of Lowell Cauffiel's it-happened-in-Detroit true crime book "Masquerade." Has anyone heard anything about this?

What was the recent sci-fi movie that used some Detroit backdrops like the Michigan Central Station? Was it The Island? I only caught part of it.

That was The Island. Not a bad film, and there's a scene inside the Michigan Theater, too. Detroit plays L.A. in the movie, but it's obviously Detroit, with some futuristic touches.
