Did anyone go to the book signing for the American City book at the Guardian Building today? I did...it was great! The jazz was wonderful...the price was a little steep, but good book!

The author and photographer were very gracious and friendly. Detroiters should be appreciative of their sincere interest and skillful rendering of our architectural gems. I think the book will be under the X-Mas tree this weekend.

I just got the book for a Christmas present. It's absolutely amazing! I can't stop looking at it & I can't thank the person who got it for me enough. Breathtaking pictures...

Love the book, but wish it was bigger for $60.00. I ran in and got mine signed. The Guardian Building is looking great.

I know that the book will be under my tree on Christmas morning as the Grillmaster picked up on my oh so obvious hint!!! So far I've resisted all temptation to sit down with a copy at the bookstore and peruse and peruse. And am hoping that Bob and Bill will be back in Detroit for some additional booksignings after the holidays. If anyone hears of such events, please post details!!!

The musicians were "Brazil and Beyond".

They were excellent, as always.
