I really hate going out to a suburban mall to visit Santa with my kid. Is there any place in "The D," that has a nice Santa set-up?

I know that COMPUWARE has a Santa come every Saturday I believe until 6. campusmartiuspark.org might have details

It appears that at the GMWORLD exhibit in the RenCen an area for a santa was set up, but I am not sure

there is indeed a santa in the rencen during the normal 9 to 5, although when a co-worker tried taking her kid there he was unfortunately out to lunch.

not sure if the rencen santa is available on weekends though.

I was at CM park tonight, where there were 3 bicycling santas who stopped by for about a half hour.

(from the Monitor)
The Friends of Detroit City Airport will host their Annual Christmas Celebration on Thursday Dec. 22 from 3-6:30 pm in the main terminal of the Detroit City Aiport 11499 Conner.

Santa and Mrs Clause will land via helicopter at 4:30 pm. There will be free parking, free refreshments and free gifts for kids 13 and under.

For more information or to make a donation(313) 417-8728

I think watching santa land from a helicopter is too cool...

Thanks everyone!

We ended up seeing the Santa at the Compuware Building... what a GREAT guy. Spent a lot of time with each kid. My son was thrilled!
