Not to downplay the severity of the emergency in ND, but comparing the pathetic Bush/Brown response to the power, spread, and devastation of a Cat 3 hurricane and then the subsequent flooding in a major metropolitan area, to Obama's responding regarding a river flooding in a largely rural and far more sparsely populated area of the US is hilarious. Fargo averages a severe spring flood from the Red River once per decade, since the 1940s, but now they have had THREE already since the turn of the century!! One would think that they would set up a more permanent solution in advance preparation for the river rising up to 45' above flood stage, instead of freaking temporary sandbags...WTF?? | ||
