With all the talk of studios and all the incentives, what would you want to see in an all MI movie? What stars, what writers, what directors, what producers, what locations. comedy or drama? |

I think the Cohen Brothers could get something together involving Hell, Michigan. Call it "Hell", get John Goodman in there, lots of quick witty dialogue. I think maybe the protagonists want to build a Hell theme park there, and we can follow their antics and failures with amusement. |

Wait, wait... And the antagonists, or vise versa, are religious fundamentalists who are opposed to romanticizing Hell. Their leader is Glenn Close. There is a shady investor involved played by Christopher Walken. |

Kid Rock and Jack White are two losers that have to man the "Homeland Security" gates at Beaver Island. (Yes they exist). Hilarity ensues, when they have to deal with FBI agents that are exiled to the island for a sting gone bad, involving Detroit City Council. Cheese smugglers from Wisconsin throw the whole island into chaos.(The Russians are coming ?). Many locals are involved, including a prominent Washington columnist, that rile some forums, with weekly updates. (At least it wasn't a TV show). |
