MLB is requiring 1270/97.1 to block streaming of Tigers games?

How do you listen? Radio? Another stream possible?

I always thought baseball blocked that sort of stuff so you have to buy their package deal to listen/watch the games online. Things like that drive me crazy!!

yep...MLB forces them to block the signal so that you have to pay the $15 annual fee to listen to games being streamed through MLB.com. Not cool.

They have been doing this for a couple of years now. Sometimes you can find a coupon on the Internet and get it cheaper than $15. They usually don't disable your account until the next regular season so you can get 2 seasons of spring training and 1 regular season and playoffs for that money.
