It's in their interest to prop up our economy. They'd be another Siberia without us and NAFTA.

Thank You Canada for hockey, clean/safe cities, good transit systems, some good bands, and above all a friendly disposition.

Yes Sstashmoo I will bite. Without the USA Canada would be nothing.

Just like your country single-handedly won WWI, WWII, went to the moon (with a large part of NASA people coming from Canada after the Avro Arrow cancellation), won Korea, built everything, engineered everything and my gosh even invented everything.

So I have to ask why isn't Mexico helping out? They sure as shit got enough of our jobs. (Free trade was good but NAFTA has been horrible to both Canada and the USA). A 1st world nation cannot trade with a 2nd or 3rd world nation and expect it be fair trade. How can a 1st world nation compete?

1st world nations can't trade with each other either if one subsidizes its exports and doesn't allow the other's imports - right Japan?

By the way you forgot to thank us Canadians for Pamela Anderson and she in turn would like to thank Michigan for her on again off again relationship with - Dow Chemical.

Hey- I love Canada, any country that makes great beer, has hockey as a national sport and allows women to go topless is OK in my book!

Jerome81: You're kidding, right? Just get them talking about the "Natives" (aka American Indians). Their attitude is "We stole their land fair and square, they should just sit down and shut up"!

I would like to thank the government of Canada for caring about us more than our own government does.
