I was watching the Pistons pregame on FSN, settling in for the game. 8:00 rolled around and the screen went black. Other channels worked, but not FSN. After watching 11 year old boxing fights on ESPN classic for 20 minutes, I flipped back to the Pistons game, but instead saw an old Wake/BC football game being broadcast with the FSN South logo in the corner. No FSN Detroit :-( WTF?!?!?!

Some games are on "FSN Plus" due to dual scheduling with Red Wings games or other network programming. For Comcast users with digital service this alternative channel is 901. I cant speak for Charter or WOW users, but I believe the number 614 has been thrown out by someone on another board.

Thanks for the story! So basically, WOW can make quick deals with new stations like the Big Ten Network (unlike comcast), but they can't keep up with existing channels. WTF
