Robinsoneditions.com has a good mix of new and old photos of Detroit and other cities. Some of them have been seen on this board before but there are a couple of absolutely stunning panoramic shots of Grand Circus Park circa 1916.

Thanks,
Thought it interesting to see the Manning Bros sign on the building on East Adams(?), yet the id on the photo was 505 Lincoln.

Most of the period shots are from the LOC-HABS website.

A lot of really beautiful pictures there, particularly the panoramic Grand Circus Park shots. I also liked the series of shots showing the now lost Monroe block at several dates in the early 1900s. But a lot of the "info" given is quite wrong. "City Hall 1984" - ummmm, I think not.

What's LOC-HABS? I'd love to take a look at it if it has pictures like these. The only reason I found this site is because I was staying at a hotel in Times Square that had some awesome pictures of old NY. It was a nice surprise to see they had Detroit as well.
