I am searching for some old pictures of the S & C (Sutton & Clemens)diner that used to be situated just to the North of the YMCA on Woodward in Highland Park up until the 70's.
There was once a picture of it in Life magazine, but I can't seem to find the date of that issue.
It sure was a neat place to grab a sandwich or to have breakfast.

I never figured out whether this was a converted rail/streetcar or whether it was a manufactured diner, like the ones on the East Coast?
It was always refered to as the 'streetcar'. It was well made.
