ok, i have not wanted to bring this up, but how long have they been filming the humane society and what they do in detroit? i live outside of nashville, tn and see this at times. the only reason i watch it is to see if any of my old stomping ground shows up, but why detroit? why just another blemish on the city? |

The series features many cities, not just Detroit, but it seems the Detroit rescuers are the more popular of the teams followed.
Their dedication and sincerity are commendable.

Watch it all the time. I too look for familiar areas. I particularly like animal cop Mark Ramos and his partner but I can't think of her name... anyway, good show to watch...when there's not to much else on. |

I watch it to try to identify the locations also. I really hate to look at the mis-treated animals they have to rescue, though. |

It's actually a good show. I wouldn't necessarily call it a blemish. After all, many of the pets find a nice home in the same area... They also have one for Miami and Houston. |

Yeah, I've watch the Houston series too. Not as interesting as the Detroit series.
