I'm planning a trip to the Windsor Casino tomorrow and was hoping to take the tunnel bus. Does anyone have experience taking the bus to Windsor? How does customs work on the bus? Any info is helpful. Thanks!

You go through little booths, kind of like the airport. I've had no problems, but it's been awhile. They usually ask you questions and such, similar to driving. They are equally friendly (not very). Very similar to the airport.

Tunnel bus is great. Need $3.75 exact change. Need to take into consideration that tunnel is often backed way up - so the bus isn't on schedule at times.

Also: comes pretty often. Makes several stops downtown. I know it stops at Michigan and Shelby because I frequently wait for my own bus there.

If I had a choice I'd take the Tunnel Bus, they save you a lot of grief & even let you off to hit the Duty Free Shop(gotta grab the next bus over tho)

Catch the bus behind the Old Mariners Church (there is a Transit Windsor bus stop and shelter immediately before the toll booths).

Bring your driver's license and birth certificate (or passport) and your $3.75.

Service is scheduled for every 30 minutes but -- as stated above -- it may not be completely on time. That being said, the tunnel bus is an easy and efficient way to go downtown to downtown.

I've had good experiences using the tunnel bus.

Though I wish they would let you take a bicycle with you.
