A year or so ago, McDonalds had a big event for black franchise owners at the Downtown Marriott. I was working in the hotel as that event was going on and there was a concert. I thought it was some cover band until I asked someone who the entertainment was. As it turns out, it was The Spinners! Quite an exciting moment. | ||

I knew his mother and his son Pervis Jackson the III who is Autistic. His son attended Burger School for the Autistic in Garden City, MI. His mother and father was so proud that the school took care of him. | ||

The song where you can really hear him is "Games People Play". They all take turns singing and his part starts out "12:45". I loved that version of the Spinners lineup with Philippé Wynne. When my friend Tyrone came to visit I couldn't play "Sadie" because it would make him cry. |
