Though it's only Monday morning, my vote goes to this unnamed, unbreathing schlemiel:An Auburn Hills police officer fatally shot a 30-year-old Pontiac man in an armed robbery of a Salvation Army thrift store Saturday evening. -- The Detroit News Dude forgot a classic line attributed to Willie Sutton (1901-80):quote:I rob banks because that's where the money is. The Salvation Army? . . . A thrift shop? . . . In PONTIAC? Honestly, now . . . |

What's even more strange is why an Auburn Hills police officer would be guarding a Pontiac thrift store. But yeah, Auburn Hills, or Pontiac, it's still a thrift shop, and run by a charity nonetheless. That's not a heist that I would risk my life over. |

Opdyke Rd. is the border between Pontiac and Auburn Hills / Bloomfield Township. |

The Salvation Army store is, in fact, in Auburn Hills. Just 1/2 mile up the road from me, as a matter of fact. |

WTF? I was just there on Saturday afternoon. Glad I was in the right place at the right time, i.e: not there at 9 PM! Ironically, I was watching "America's Most Wanted" at that time. |
