Those would be "films" as TV news at that time still shot and processed film.

as in "film at 11"

Technically...even back then, it was "video" as opposed to "audio".

I was a member of the "Audio/Video" club in school. Or "AVman" as we were referred to. I ran the projector for our class and others. Used to love those old documentaries. And the way they used to screw up and say A-A-AA-A-M-M-ER-C-C-C-CA.
