Pixel It Productions, Moya Entertainment and GameCamp! have partnered to bring GameCamp! summer camps for kids 10-18 to Michigan. The first camp will be held at Wayne State University from June 16th to July 18th. Leveraging the GameCamp! experience gained since 2003, Moya Entertainment will be providing instructors and experienced game developers to interact with the students. Hosted by Pixel It Productions for a second year in a row, the camp will include addition physical education and business etiquette portions as well.



The students will learn various aspects of working in teams as well as learning to express their ideas and concepts to their peers and the industry. This 5 week course will cover the various topics used in Game Development to include Game Design, Game Art, Programming, and Production/Business aspects. Lunch will be provided throughout the course. At the end of the course they will present their game concept to a panel of industry panelists.

Cost for the 5 week camp is $2000 and runs from 8 am until 5 pm Monday through Friday (July 4th is not a class day.)

well that is the target, but if it is something you can afford to spend the money on and have the time, then there isn't a reason you couldn't take it, just most of the material is targeted towards that age group.
