I didn’t make it out to Movement this year, but I know the DSO’s presenting their 8 days in June Music Festival from the 13th to the 21st. Classical, jazz, experimental, world music, theatre, and visual art. The Detroit Symphony will be performing as well as Tony Bahu, The Bill Frisell Trio, and New Music Detroit. It sounds pretty cool. I’ve seen the brown flyers / programs everywhere lately. For anyone who’s going, if you go to the Detroit Symphony’s Myspace profile you can get a password to get a free drink with every ticket you buy. Sweet! |
