i know the party stores in Detroit are well versed at selling 12 packs of beer that originated from a 24 pack. But does anyone know which ones near downtown have Keg beer in stock? I'm in need for an upcoming BBQ. thanks ahead!

That question gets asked alot. If you are looking for Mass-Produced Domestic (Bud, Miller) I'm not sure where. But, you can always get a keg from Motorcity or Atwater.

I saw a keg being rolled to a car at the Harbortown Market last week, though I have seen signs for them inside.

What's that liquor store on I think Forest and Third or Second? I think they can get you some, but you have to give them a couple days notice.

Not 100% sure, but I think a friend got a couple kegs from them before. There has to be a few places around Midtown. I see empty kegs all over the lawn of that Frat House on Cass near Canfield every so often. They have to be getting them from somewhere?!

Try Cost Plus Wine Shoppe in Eastern Market. They've got a decent beer selection and I'd bet Danny would special order whatever you want.

Most good party stores or beer & wine shops can order them, just give a few days..
