Our family has been on some of these cruises, and they are educational and fun. Bring binoculars and a jacket!

"Discovery cruises are for everyone: families, educators, and individuals. Sea Grant Michigan, in partnership with the Huron-Clinton Metropark Authority, is hosting its 2008 Summer Discovery Cruise season June-August this year. We have finalized plans and you may check out the complete schedule for both Lake St. Clair (Metro Beach Metropark) and Lake Erie (Lake Erie Metropark) at our program website: www.discoverycruises.org. Costs for 2008 are the same as in 2007, $15 for adults, $10 for those under 18.

Cruise descriptions, the complete schedule at both locations, and registration forms are waiting for you at www.discoverycruises.org. We look forward to seeing you this summer as we learn more about our Great Lakes!"
