I'm looking to move to Dearborn or the surrounding area but am having a heck of a time finding 1 bedroom apartments. I've tried craigslist but there is a severe lack of any 1 bedroom apartments on it. Do people still use the newspaper to advertise apartments or is there some great online site I'm missing?

Also, if I live in Detroit but work in Dearborn, would I have to pay Detroit income tax?

East side of Dearborn has some houses with upstairs rental units, the 1-bedroom type. Yes, you'd need to pay Detroit income taxes if you work in Detroit.
