Many of you know John Bennett, he is the police officer behind the FireJerryO.com and detroituncovered.com Web sites. Almost 5 years ago, John Bennett was fired by then Police Chief Jerry Oliver for starting a blog about some of the sneeky things going in City government. John filed a wrongful termination suit and has won back his job. He is also launching his campaign to run for City Council. On Sunday April 27, john is having an Open House/rally from 3 to 5 PM at MotorCity Blight Busters. Blight Busters located at 17336 Lasher Rd in Detroit (just north of Grand River).
