Why, paying your CitiBank bill, and handing the money over to the House of Saud makes him just as happy!

Oh yeah, that's the only way to go. Is it one of those bronze "firefighter" looking nozzles? Those are the best. Way better than the gun-type.

Naw it's a trigger type. But it's an all steel construction. I forgot to put it away last fall during a good freeze which made it leak later when I tried to use it. All that was required was dis assembly and re insertion of an O ring that the ice squeezed out of position, and then it was good as new.

Uncle Sam will start sending out tax rebate checks in about 3-4 weeks, to everyone who had filed their tax returns. The amount will range from about $600-$1500 depending if you are single, married and so on.

What do you plan to do with the money?

Unfortunately, according to the government rules I didn't qualify. Only was able to work a short term part time job last year. It would have been nice to get since I have a child. However if I did qualify, I probably would have put most of it toward her college fund and maybe pay on a bill depending on the amount.

I hate to point this out, as we are all intelligent people...

If I may quote a great man:

"All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent."

-and-

"Banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies."

-as well as-

"Every government degenerates when trusted to the rulers of the people alone. The people themselves are its only safe depositories."

-more so-

"Our country is now taking so steady a course as to show by what road it will pass to destruction, to wit: by consolidation of power first, and then corruption, its necessary consequence."

and...finally

"When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty."

"Why, paying your CitiBank bill, and handing the money over to the House of Saud makes him just as happy!"

You assume that Ferntruth owes money on credit cards. He is 100% credit card debt free. By paying bills, I mean using the money to cover money I owe locally (for the current landscaping project I have going on, for example).

You spend your money the way you see fit JL, and I will do the same.

Enjoy your maglites!

So that's how President George "INTERNATIONAL TERRORIST" Bush is going to solve the America's economic crisis, by giving the American People a welfare check.

LOL... IMO, those so-called "economic stimulus" checks have already been targeted by those interests who can readily raise their rates and prices to capture their share of the pie.

Bye-Bye, Miss American Pie, drove my chevy to the "levy", but the "bevy" went dry...

Exactly the sentiments shared by the majority of folks in Michigan, especially those around Metro Detroit. Economic stimulus? Yeah, sure, if buying gas, food, household necessities and paying home mortgage are considered economic stimulus.
