I've been trying to photograph as many Detroit Fire Stations as I can find around town, active and non active. Anyone have a list of locations? Thanks-

Is this list complete? Or is it only of active stations? I'm thinking of the one @Bagley and 6th (now a law office) and the former mexican restaurant on mich ave?

Pythonmaster, If you don't mind sharing your pictures, can you post them on the "firehouses" thread?

A less than flattering article appeared on the front page of Tuesday's Detroit News about the poor physical conditions at Ladder 16. Those firefighters as well as the local citizens deserve better, much better.

The News article from yesterday appears on 2 separates threads on Discuss Detroit, one titled Firehouses, another titled Detroit Firefighter Piece.
Forumers appear to really care and are incensed about the deplorable condition, but City Hall seems too engrossed with other "concerns" to be bothered.
