I remember the whole neighborhood would show up at 5 Pm at the side door to get fresh bread right out of the oven run home and eat it just for a treat.
It was at the corner of Conger and Van Dyke. Where Kettering High School is at today.
They would let us kids go in and make our own small pizzas for a quarter.
A wonderful family they were. |
