Viewers familiar with the area may be surprised by what they see, said Garrison Courtney, spokesman for the federal agency.

"I think they're going to be surprised at how involved the DEA has been," he said. "They don't realize that we do this much, because we're a small agency. They don't get a real sense of how much violence there is in drug trafficking."

Hmmm. Seems to me that there are few things in Detroit that surprise many people anymore. Is there really theat much more violence that doesn't already get covered and broadcasted over enough media outlets? Certainly won't make it easier to change Detroit's image in the national audience...
