Forget the Weather Channel, with their dopplers and high tech equipment. Low tech is where it's at! Get the daily Detroit weather Old-School style from my new web site.

Where can I buy a Velvet Peanut Butter t-shirt? That is, a t-shirt that shows Velvet Peanut Butter on the front.

Thanks, Ed_golick. I really appreciate your Detroitness. You really have a knack for digging up some unique home towne stuff. Is this clip from a local area TV station? What year? Will it really change day to day (providing the weather does)?

The animation was done in 1957 by Soundac Studios in Miami. They were also responsible for the atom-age cartoon series Colonel Bleep. I was told that WJBK aired the weather toons back in the day. I have a series of the clips for every weather situation and will change them when the weather changes. The sponsor will change every couple of weeks. Stay tuned!

They could have used that in Seattle last night. Put an inch of snow on the ground, the city ties itself up in knots.....

Ed, we have to write you a script that parses the weather websites for Detroit and based on the word used on the site, loads the correct .flv file from your selection. IE: www.detroitkidshow.com./15,16, 17,18,flv.. etc.
Make it autonomous.=)
