Hello everyone! My name is Al, and I've been browsing your forum for two or three years now. I'm from a small town in the thumb, but was born in Detroit. My father is Detroit born and bred (7 mile and Livernois area I believe)and my mother is from Farmington Hills. I've learned a lot from you guys in the past couple of years, and I finally decided to join. I'm sure I will learn a ton more from you guys in the future. Hopefully i can contribute a little to the forum..I don't live in Detroit but I have always had a weird obsession with it so I know a fair share. Talk to you all soon.

I certainly am no veteran around here, but I've been hanging around, bringing down the neighborhood, for a little while now, and I welcome both of you.
Generate a thick skin. There are some very aggressive citizens in this on-line community. |

That 'weird obsession' is the Spirit of Detroit. You can be infected with it generationally, even if your parents bailed.

I declared I'd be posting less because my mental health issues have been healed and I'm quite busy on various projects to make the city a better place and to put people to work.
Shouldn't expect any different a reply from you, as you so boldly HIDE behind your anonymity. You must be very proud when I walk into the same room as you and treat you like I always have.
So, ever consider why are you such an asshole?
Hell, MY parents bailed. I'm not concerned with the lost generation(s) as much as I am anyone and everyone who cares about this city. Even YOUR bitter ass, if you can do some good here.
