I am looking for a good place for a margarita after the St. Patrick's Day Parade, but don't want to wait in line in Mexicantown. Any suggestions? |

I'm sure there are enough restaurants to go around in Mexican Town. Also... Margarita? Shouldn't you be drinking a Guinness, eating a corned beef sandwich and taking a shot of Bushmills? Wait until May 5th for your Margaritas. |

Watch out for this stolen $3,000 costume:
Heads up: 6-foot Guinness missingquote:EASTPOINTE -- If you see pink elephants in the bar on St. Patrick's Day, you might want to call a cab -- but if you see a 6-foot pint of beer walking around, call the police. They have issued a warning to be on the lookout for a Guinness beer costume, which was used for promotions, taken from an Eastpointe garage. The $3,000 costume is one of only two known to be in the United States, Eastpointe Police Lt. Leo Borowsky said.... Anyone with information about the stolen costume is asked to call Eastpointe police at (586) 445-5100. |

$3,000.00 for a can of Guinness? Thats almost as bad as the $5 Miller Lite at Union Street. |

It's a pretty well-known Detroit tradition to have Mexican food for dinner after the Corktown parade |

Yep, the Parade is on Sunday...2pm. It's also Palm Sunday. I'll be at church, then endulging in some fine Scotch and tailgating for the parade. |

It's always the Sunday before St. Paddy's. Even if St. Paddy's falls on a Saturday. (Hey look, my 400th post! I need to get a life.) |
