Anyone have details (or at least ideas) on where it would be held? My guess would be on the river (obviously), and perhaps having the race headquarters on Belle Isle, with the air race extending a few miles upriver from there. But that is only my guess - looking to see if anyone has access to any details...

The southern end of Grosse Ile has what used to be a military airport. It is still in operation as a corporate and private airport.

Not too sure how these races work, but it seems interesting.

This looks to be a great event. I've always seen the commercials, but never the actual event. Detroit keeps pulling in events!
