Everyone, Just a reminder to anyone who has not seen the schedule. There will be a preservation / maintenance workday on Feb 2nd at Historic Fort Wayne from 9am - 5pm. Some of the objectives will be (weather pending) would be some brush clearing, etc. Most of the planned tasks will revolve around completing the following: 1) glazing of the 1905 Guardhouse bathroom window 2) repainting the benches for the Spanish American War era guardhouse. 3) Cleaning the former museum display cases in the 1848 barracks 4) Various other projects. If you would like to help out, we would love to have any of you come out. Please wear comfortable, durable and "dirty-able" clothes. Work gloves and boots are preferred if you have them. Sign in at the security gate and meet at building 112 to meet with everyone. Please note that the March workday has changed to March 1st.
