I'm worried because the Detroit Spice Company's site has been down all week. They're still in business, aren't they? I hope so, I wasn't done collecting all the different tins yet.

If they are closed, R Hirt carries the brand, you might be able to get the ones your are missing.

They make great spices that come in very cool and well designed tins. With flavors like "Greektown" and "Mexicantown".

I found their storefront at Amazon.com, you can see the products here!

Randal Fogelman worked at Rafal's for awhile, he started Detroit Spice Co.

I think Rafal is a partner with him on it.

I called Detroit Spice Co's number. The answering machine message directs you to call Rafal's phone number.

They can put any name on the label. Lot of spice companies make the blend, and put whatever you want on the label. General Spice. Ausmus Spice, both Detroit coompanies, used to do that.

I gave a Detroit Spice Company 5 pack to the ushers in my wedding a few years back. It'd be sad if it closed.
