Detroit 5 Nashville 2
Wings held it together enough to win against the Preds on the road. Should be a good one tomorrow at Joe Louis.
Props to Ozzie tonight-held off Nashville with several huge saves!!!!

And Kyle Calder seems like a legit steal right about now. He's got some moxie going to the net and hustles. I can see why Kenny Holland was eyeing this guy last year.

It's nice to see the boys play with some fiestiness to them. There have been a few times this year where the team seems to not care (think back to the Boston game last Sunday) and that's been bothersome. All this is just primer to the big show soon.

That officiating was just awful tonight. Outside of the holding the stick call on Chelios, the refs were horrible and did just about anything to give that game to Nashville.

Detroit needs to win a few more faceoffs in our own zone. It seemed like Nashville created quite a few opportunities off the draw tonight.

Lang, Calder and Hudler have been on fire as of late. It's nice to see a draft pick like Hudler flourishing within the system. In the face of all of these injuries, it's nice to see the team doing so well too. I'm also doubly happy to see Hasek get some of that fire back in his belly after that horrific Boston fiasco last Sunday.

Good game last night but not as exciting as the previous one. I was surprised how the Preds played, they were pretty passive almost playing not to lose and tight. During the game in Nashville they had a lot more jump and actually dominated stretches in Detroit's end a number of times.
