ANY EVER BEEN TO A SHOW THERE?

Went on a whim to see it's current production "ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST". Very funny and well acted adaption.

It's running Oct 11th- Nov 11th 8pm thur,fri,sat and 4pm sunday.

Its was also nice being in a theater on BROADWAY at the same time the opera house got out. The YMCA was bustling with people too. awesome area this has turned out to be.

Ok that was a shameless plug.

I have a part in the play.

Come one, come all. We need Detroit to come out and see the show. Matrix Theater Co. is puttin on this show and we need your butts in the seats.

We even have a great talk back session after the show with the cast and producers about mental illness in the 60's vs 2007 and other topics relating.

FYI tonights show is INDUSTRY NIGHT> we are taking donations instead of ther 15 dollar ticket price, call ahead an reserve.

Wow, with 1515 Broadway, the Boll Theatre, the Detroit Opera House, and the Chrysler Dance Theatre (5th floor Broadway side of Opera House)... Detroit's Broadway Ave. is finally coming of age in downtown entertainments!

thanx Detroit313. We need to talk up venues like this. We chat about what's missing downtown, but check this place out.
