We all seem to know what's wrong with this region (even if we disagree what it is, we all here, for the most part, have opinions).

So - what's right?

If someone had a clean slate - and your job is to give them the best impression - what would you show them and how would you show them, with the currently available resources (or, attainable resources that are able to be reasonably gotten considering the reality our current political climate and financial situation - in short, the (in my opinion sad) reality is that we ain't getting the super-duper regional mass transit in six months, so let's not go there)?

In tourism, many people talk about the 18-hour day - are there 18 hours of events/activities to keep someone busy on vacation (knowing they may not do it all, but the idea is that it covers 8am around the clock to 2a, or approximate) so that there are always things to do. So - what's your 18 hour day?
