I need some help finding places that sell Red Wing memorabilia, or unique Red Wing art pieces.

Thanks in advance.

Really?

I guess it's not as easy as in the late 90s.

A smaller store that always has cool stuff is the Pointe After at Mack/Moross.

I think a lot of the market for this sort of stuff-- in all sports-- has gone to ebay and amazon.

Did you try Hockeytown in Troy? Might as well get it from the trademark holder.

I love eBay as much as the next guy but when it comes to "authentic" Red Wings stuff I'm always a little leery.

There was one time I was looking into getting an autographed Steve Yzerman puck for a friend's son. I scoured eBay and saw a handful of listings; much to my dismay there were several pucks with some questionable Yzerman autographs on them. One has to be really careful about the authenticity of those items. I'm more inclined to buy from a known reputable dealer or from Hockeytown- either the one inside the JLA or the one in Troy.

BTW- is there a particular piece of memorabilia you're looking for?

Play Ball is in Westland on Warren Road directly across from the Westland Mall. They have a TON of Red Wings items as well as a vast array of other NHL paraphernalia. I've never seen so many hockey jerseys in one store!

35121 Warren Rd
Westland, MI 48185
(734) 326-3930

I can also vouch for the Goalie's Den in Troy but it's a much smaller store. Or at least it was the last time I was there a good 10 years ago.

Is the memorabilia store on the inside of Compuware, behind Ben & Jerry's, still a going concern?

Yes, Detroit Athletic does have some awesome stuff but more geared towards the baseball fan- not as much hockey as some of these other folks suggested here.
