Thanks guys. I'm Jeff Widen and I run the Detroit Petanque Club. It is vital that we live, work, and play as much as we can in Detroit - and with this petanque tournament, there were plenty of out-of-staters, some who haven't been to Detroit ever, others who haven't been back for 20 years... and everyone had a fun and competitive time and WILL be back. We played in Cadillac Square - and celebrated over at the Hard Rock Detroit. It was all day, 10am to 11pm! We're looking to do it again soon, this time with Adam over at the Buzz Bar. But in the meantime all are welcome to come over to Cadillac Square at lunchtime (12-1pm) to learn & play and all day Saturday (12-6pm) at Campus Martius Park. www.detroitpetanque.com |
