And it didn't take the six months to make a decision. Who did Reeves consult with on this one?

The mayor proposed the whole thing too, according to the press release.

Don't worry the suburbanites will now blame him for them not getting a tax cut!

Please, let us not be haunted by the boogeymen, and drag into this people that haven't even responded.

This is about these NEZ's, which at the very least will be a great tool to help retain, and make them more competitive to comparative inner-ring suburban neighborhoods, given the cons of choosing a Detroit hood over a comparative suburban one.

BTW, this really should have went in the continuing thread about this issue:

http://www.detroityes.com/00-i ndex-forum.htm

It's really just a continuation of the story.

East English Village was in last year with my neighborhood. My sister-inlaw lives there and I know she got it.

Michigansheik,

I was told that the nez maps on the accessors website was not official and they were working to finalize it. My concern is that North English Village (between Harper and Warren) is shown on the accessors nez map. However, it is not one of the 26 neighborhoods listed in the July 16th press release nor is it mentioned in any of the stories that I read today.
