NBC report tonight on Medellin Columbia's turn around. Once informally ruled by Pablo Escobar, and home of countless corrupt government officials. Drugs have been successfully dealt with and Medellin has more cranes operating on developments then Los Angeles and New York combined.

I worked in Medellin 7 years ago...not a place I'd want to live...give me Detroit any day...you can't believe everything you see on NBC...it didn't turn around in 7 years...it remains a dangerous place...kids are kidnapped...drugs are part of the marketplace. Its a beautiful city...but...
