"$109.00 per night" That is really really cheap for a downtown hotel any time of the year. Seems good to hear though. |

that's a very low end room...they have them as high as $324 for that same weekend... CP, why is that good? You should want higher prices, not lower...the higher the prices, the more tax revenue for the city |

Lower prices should mean more visitors, especially those who aren't on corporate budgets. A cheap rate will get someone who is on the fence about staying downtown to stay downtown. I'd rather have more people on the street and at our events/festivals: more positive spinoff than a simple tax benefit skimmed off the top of a costly room rate. |
